Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive collection of materials, including books, periodicals, digital resources, and multimedia materials.
  • Provide reference and research assistance to users, answering inquiries, conducting searches, and guiding users in accessing library resources effectively.
  • Plan and implement engaging programs and events to promote literacy, learning, and community engagement.
  • Manage library operations, including circulation, cataloging, shelving, and facilities management, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in library science, technology, and information services, and incorporate innovative approaches into library programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, and standards, including cataloging and classification systems.
